A 16-BORE / 20-BORE PINFIRE CAPE RIFLE SIGNED H. & L. DAMM BARMEN, serial no. XCO 4050,
circa 1860, with 28 1/4in. twist barrels signed and detailed in gilt, the serial number added latter to the left side of left chamber, gamescene engraved back-action locks, carved walnut butt-stock with raised cheek-piece and relief carved panels of acanthus leaves in lieu of chequering, horn cover for the lower tang and swing under-lever, floral engraved rounded action and chequered and carved fore-end, fitted with iron swivels
